under Administration -> Local Administration

The original XUL feature starts here: 29d1b357eef061bb3698e4ce0506eb93b63421be

Make sure egCore from the calling interface is pulling in these org unit
settings:

ui.admin.work_log.max_entries
ui.admin.patron_log.max_entries
